drums sound great, love how big they are, everything in a space together, except he bass right in your face. do i know some of these songs? Bye Bye Bad Man is their beatles tune. it's fun lotta fun percush back half of this record gets way more british, these guys had fun, i had fun, 3 stars oh lord does the breakdown in the 8-minute track 11 "i am the resurrection" prefigure some of the worst of U2's turn-of-the-century boring excess. It's not the Stone Roses' fault that U2 became the worst band ever, but this sucked when SR did it and it sucked when U2 did it. dumb dumb dumb, i'd skip the rest of this track, but i feel obligated to listen. Last track really leans into the percussion groove, we get some funk, this must have really inspired a lot of 90s groups or A&R reps. oh my fucking god it's 10 minutes long. GUYS FIVE MINUTES IS PLENTY. JUST MAKE ANOTHER SONG IF YOU HAVE FIVE MORE MINUTES WORTH OF MUSIC & LYRICS

hot buttered soul here are some 10+ minute songs. knowing isaac hayes, it's gonna be a lil less repetitive than U2 Jr from yesterday. 10/10 classic. another treasure lost to scientology

man this record really was all hits. green day at the top of their game, i bet it went.... gonna guess 5x platinum from wiki: "six times platinum status in the United States" track 8: Homecoming 9:19. should this song be this long? idk man lotta long songs on this record, but it's only 9 tracks. instinct says too long, but i like this one actually, not so repetitive as Stone Roses. Thanks Billie Joe & Co ugh fucking muse came on after this. they're so bad

cant argue with any of this record. LOVE the rhythm section. perfect album 10/10

great stuff, good players. a lot of these licks have become cliches now, but that's not this record's fault.

these guys are better musicians than i had remembered. i hate their tone. love the songs, love the lyrics, but jesus everything sounds like ass. this guys voice sucks too. glad each song is only 1.5 mins long
