1001 Albums Summary

This album still rings well in 2025. Strong flavours of folk, country, and 1970s rock. 1st time listen and liked 3/4+ of the songs.

Solid funk mixed with anti-war notes. Mostly drawn out groovin' with a lot of filler, not light hearted. Do things with intensity both fight and love. Musically 2.5 of 5 stars. 1st time listen, wouldn't seek album out again but might listen to a song or two.

Unpoetic nothingness, 1st listen 1/5 stars. Will never want to hear these songs for enjoyment.

A great collection of reflective songs on a life lived. The covers invoked deeper emotions than the originals. 1st time listen to the full album, but I've heard more than half of the songs previously.
