1001 Albums Summary

i have mixed feelings on this one. some songs i really liked, others i really was not a fan of (to the point i couldn't even finish the song), and others though they weren't necessarily my taste i can see how other people would like them. my favourite tracks were: here comes you man, wave of mutilation, monkey gone to heaven and la la love you. my least favourite tracks were: debaser, tame and crackity jones. overall i think i would give it 5/10 or possibly 6/10 at a push. this is because i prefer slower, more melodic songs whereas a lot of the songs on this album were quite loud and fast and screamy. however, i can appreciate that this is a well made album with some tunes on it.

i didn't love how long all of the songs are but i guess that doesn't matter too much. also i didn't realise how many people hate on coldplay - uncalled for. good album however i think its better listened to out and about doing something maybe rather than laying in bed. my favourite track was the scientist probably but i think its one of those albums you need to listen to a couple times to know for sure.
