1001 Albums Summary

recognised quite a few of these, deffo not one i’d go back and listen to again but i didn’t hate it

pretty good tbh, very like ethereal and dreamy, felt like a good background music album for the summer

hated this, only made it through 3 songs

didn’t mind the instrumentals, but the vocals were dire

it was okay, some of the instruments were a bit annoying

this genuinely sounded like a high-school diss track for most of the songs? incredibly samey-samey rhythm pattern and just naff lyrics all round, very cringe, not a fan

a bit underwhelmed tbh! a mediocre album with one or two bangers on it, but i expected more :(

very much an album of two halves for me. LOVED the first half but the second half didn’t appeal as much

i do not like jazz. parts of this were really overstimulating

really enjoyed this! wasn’t a fan of the lead vocals but the mood was gothic and it was so incredibly 80s in the way i just love

a lot of the songs sounded the exact same. she has a nice voice but this really wasn’t for me

this wasn’t good. riffs were super repetitive and the vocals were just bad

relaxing and beachy, good as background music but not much more than that

R.E.M. is an appropriate name for these lot since they near bored me to sleep
