Could not finish this album and his yowling. It was boring and annoying at the same time

Let's Stay Together by Al Green
Dec 16 2025

Easy listening, general soul grooves and instrumentation. Lot of repetition and similar sounding songs except for the first and last tracks, which were my favorite.

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Dec 17 2025

I love the vibes, the haunting and experimental moments. The yearning. I just hate the mix, I struggle to hear anything but the drum track.

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Dec 18 2025

I enjoyed the creative melodies and chord progressions and instrumentation throughout. Incredible guitar work, and many genres encapsulated into this folk and story-telling album. I can see myself repeat listening to several of these tracks.

Graceland by Paul Simon
Dec 19 2025

The energetic accordion had me hooked right off the bat. Googling what the heck kind of genre is this, and discovered a whole lot of interesting world beats in the process. This is such a cool collaboration of an American folk singer with South African musicians, musical stylings, and instrumentation and keeps the energy going.

Harvest by Neil Young
Dec 20 2025

I was not impressed by the first couple of tracks. Really bland and low energy sounding. But I came to appreciate his voice and the orchestration of some of the other pieces and I recognized Heart of Gold and realized this guy sang “Horse with No Name” so that’s cool. I gave it a second listen and I can appreciate it more for what it is.

461 Ocean Boulevard by Eric Clapton
Dec 21 2025

I enjoyed the energy and the funky blues sounds. I Shot the Sheriff is a classic and the whole album has a similar vibe. I also liked the collab tracks with other vocalists.

Tago Mago by Can
Dec 22 2025

This was wild and controlled at the same time. Funky grooves, alt rock, 18 minute tracks, clearly skilled musicians. I appreciate this album but don’t need to listen again.

Live! by Fela Kuti
Dec 23 2025

Incredible live musicianship. Funky, groovy, politically dense.

Pacific Ocean Blue by Dennis Wilson
Dec 24 2025

Really dense, rich album with rock, funk, and piano driven ballads. I love the instrumentations and richness

Dec 26 2025

Manic-fueled Xmas spirit. You better be having fun or else. Definitely recognized “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)”, and the other songs were catchy and fun as well.

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Dec 27 2025

I recognized Life on Mars?

Murmur by R.E.M.
Dec 29 2025

Unremarkable but still cool

The Clash by The Clash
Dec 30 2025

Punk is not really my genre but I appreciate their politics

LP1 by FKA twigs
Dec 31 2025

Finally a woman! After listening to 15 dudes. Interesting electronic experience

Hearts And Bones by Paul Simon
Jan 05 2026

Had a lot of silly tracks (cars are cars) overthinking, but I kinda dug it

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
Jan 06 2026

A fun, easy to listen to electronic soundscape

Miriam Makeba by Miriam Makeba
Jan 08 2026

Incredible vocals and emotion. Love this entire album and will listen again.

At Newport 1960 by Muddy Waters
Jan 10 2026

Incredible musical experience. I can’t image the energy of the crowd!

Treasure by Cocteau Twins
Jan 11 2026

This is fairy-like and dark and I loved it

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Jan 13 2026

Great album, I’m just a little tired of it personally

Fear and Whiskey by Mekons
Jan 15 2026

It was really interesting and novel. I feel like Mekon walked so Blues Traveler and Dave Matthew’s band could run.

Risque by CHIC
Jan 16 2026

Fun and energetic disco funk

Mama's Gun by Erykah Badu
Jan 18 2026

Cool and funky, laid back vibes too

Channel Orange by Frank Ocean
Jan 20 2026

It was cool but not my style

The Next Day by David Bowie
Jan 23 2026

I got through some of it

Green by R.E.M.
Jan 27 2026

I only listened to half the album.

Who's Next by The Who
