1001 Albums Summary

Fantastic beats, samples, flow. Thematically and lyrically its so far from my experience it stops it from being a 5 for me, but only just. Call it 4.5. Fave tracks: It Ain't Hard To Tell, The World Is Yours, Memory Lane

Comes hard out of the gate, and the first half is some of the best thrash you will ever hear. Loses steam in the back half and the last three tracks don't really do it for me. 8 minute instrumental? No thanks Metallica. Fave tracks: Battery, Master of Puppets, The Thing That Should Not Be

Undeniably great voice, love the harmonies, but ultimately it's a vibe that doesn't fit with why I listen to music. Fave tracks: Distant Lover

If I had to run through a brick wall this would be my soundtrack. Fave tracks: Bombtrack, Bullet In The Head, Know Your Enemy

Harmonies galore. I do prefer the slightly more upbeat numbers, and its a shame there wasn't more Nash-penned stuff here. Fave tracks: Suite: Judy Blue Eyes, Pre-Road Downs, Long Time Gone

Some overly long songs but a few standout tracks from the period before Rod went full unfashionable dad-rock. Fave tracks: Maggie May, (I Know) I'm Losing You, (Find A) Reason To Believe

Undeniable classic. I've even come to love Maxwell's Silver Hammer. BANG BANG. Fave tracks: Something, Here Comes The Sun, Golden Slumbers medley

Some interesting sounds but not my thing at all. Not terrible just can't imagine ever wanting to sit down and listen to this or have it on in the background. Fave tracks:

Incredible voice, and the songs are catchy enough. 3hrs+ is a slog, I was happy to hit shuffle until I'd had my fill. Fave tracks: Pick any 3 tracks at random
