1001 Albums Summary

Classic funk album with interesting elements of intergalactic/alien sound effects. We want the funk, gott have the funk.

There are a couple of songs that have the classic Bowie saxophone improvisations. I think a lot of these songs are missing an arch like some of his earlier work. Overall, I'm not really feeling it.

Always impressed with her talent. A couple of great tracks on here that are less main stream.

Bang a gong is the only song I recognized and the only song I cared for. There were some notable moments of blues improvisations. But mostly a lot of the songs felt similar to each other and non of them ever got rhythmically complex.

Lots of Christmas classics covered by artists who give a fresh take from the traditional.

Le freak and happy man were the only decent tracks.

Too instrumental for my taste. The instrumentals felt too much like elevator music.

Vibes are repetitive. And I dont like super long tracks.
