Loved the instrumentation (with the exception of track 4), really spoke to the tap dancer in me. First two tracks were really beautiful. Loses me a little with the length of each track. I am not familiar with much world music. Favorite track: Lasidan; least fav: Sega.
I get this, and why it would be so magnetic live. It does feel like most of the songs are modeled after Tutti Frutti in melody and pacing, and maybe that’s the point. Enjoyed the second half of the album more than the first. Fav track: Tutti Frutti, Least Fav: True, Fine Mama
Loved the first track so much. The rest was a tough listen, which I know is the point, but I wouldn’t return to it.
I can recognize the impact of this. I feel like he would’ve been a fan of Doechii today. That said, it’s not for me. My favorite track was Juicy, and the back half of the album was more interesting to me than the front.
I don’t have anything negative to say apart from small moments on the album I didn’t love. Her voice is very interesting, and I enjoyed the instrumentals. I feel it would continue to grow on me with more listens.
I have almost nothing to say. I liked Killer Queen, which I knew before. I’m sure there are other Queen albums I would like more and be more engaged with.
I’m a Spotify user and feel like I’m missing a lot of this album, but what I did hear was 0% for me. It was scratchy and chaotic and not something I get.
Just not for me. I’m sure it’s for someone, but not met. It felt uninteresting and flat. The instrumentation was fine.
Just did nothing for me. I liked some of the instrumentation. Didn’t find any of it gripping.
Surprised my positively. Not my genre of choice usually, but this was good.
I wanted to like moments of this, but I dislike so much of it that it puts me off the whole thing.
I don’t get this or what it’s trying to do. It’s not something I would ever access again for any purpose.
Very entertaining and a breath of fresh air. This made me want to listen to more of his work.
I liked this. Overall pretty enjoyable. Nothing earth-shattering for me, but good.
Really really not for me, but that is expected. I can tell the guitar is incredible throughout, so I wish I could handle listening to it more.
