Starting off strong! I already love a lot of the songs on here but excited to get a full a full "picture" painted for me.
What a time capsule of music, so futuristic yet of the time. I sometimes felt transported to another word or dimension with the synths and melodic beats. An album that can exists across multiple times and spaces.
Beautiful songs and lyrics that stick with you. I loved having this soundtrack my day and truly feeling like it was enhancing everything I was doing.
what an eclectic mix of sounds and beats. i don't know what i expected from this but it definitely wasn't this. i feel like i'm at a psychedelic carnival surrounded by all sorts of different people and sounds.
I am a fan of album's that flow seamlessly and I feel like the insert of skits really adds an extra layer to the project to make it feel more visual.
overall, pretty vibey and melodic. i think the beats are smooth and flow really well from one song to the next. eminem's lyricism is also so strong and clever.
i've listened to tupac's biggest songs but never a full album and i honeslty really enjoyed this. the beats are so melodic and have such a natural rhythm that you can't help but move along. this has such a unique 90's quality to it and transports you back in time.
his voice is so smooth, he is such a storyteller and i'm happy to listen.
frank sinatra really is that guy. he has such a charming voice and quality that it's hard to not feel like you are the main character in a movie when these songs are played.
not my usual type of music, a bit aggressive at times but definitely can see how this would be good in certain times and places.
reminds me of a certain era of angsty teens and its fun to reminisce on that time of life.

this album screams rock and roll to me. from the groovy basslines, electric guitar solos, and heavy vocals. i love listening to something that fully immerses me into the time and place. i want to be in a smoky dive bar in a tiny band tee and skirt with teased hair flirting with a boy who looks like he can drive stick and play the drums.
this was such a staple in my high school years. to listen to the xx while scrolling through tumblr was such an experience.

this album reminded me of a time that i've only experienced through media but long for. the grungy and alternativeness brings in a feeling of longing and nostalgia. for some reason, it takes me to a time of being in oregon, cloudy days, and dive bars. it's full of great guitar breakdowns and melodies. eddie vedder's voice providing a key to a specific time of life.
so this album is not available on spotify so i listened to a few songs on youtube, not my preferred method and I feel like i lost the flow but overall funk is always a good idea.

it's moody and sultry but not my usual speed. it feels good for a specific time or place. it reminds me of a dimly lit hotel lobby with some retro decor. very chill and a good background to set the mood.
listening to this makes me feel romantic and honest. like a warm cup of tea on an early morning with the love of my life or on a late night drive going somewhere cozy for dinner and driving with the windows down. his voice is natural and full of soul. making this album the perfect soundtrack to a day of romanticizing life.
i've never listened to a full lenny album until now. he has such a specific sound - there is such a grit and angst to his voice that it feels desperate. he has wonderful melodies, guitar riffs, and arrangement elements that make the songs sound grand. it's a unique and raw and full of layers.
i had never heard of or listened to this group before, it definitely has a uniqueness to it that i appreciate. theres a freshness to the classic rock vibe. it has insane guitar riffs and vocal elements that you wouldn't expect. great basslines too. the vocals are incredible and have such great tone. i can't believe i have never heard any of them before but i'm glad i got to experience this now!
off the bat it makes me think of an early 2000's transition song for a movie but also giving video game at the same time. it has this vibe that reminds me of other times and places. instrumentals are hit or miss for me especially this type of sound so it's not my favorite but could be fitting in the right setting.

great vibes right off the bat. these types of albums are my favorite. it has amazing guitar melodies and i love the other musical elements like piano and almost an accordion sound. the fun vocals and arrangements make it exciting to listen to. overall wonderful album! suprised it has such a low amount of listens, they're really reminding me of a tamer CCR or a Steely Dan slightly Beatles adjacent too. could see this being a soundtrack to dazed and confused.

marvin gaye is always a good idea. he has such a soulful and warm voice that is perfect to soundtrack so many kinds of moments. this album is a beautiful collection of him at his best.
i've heard sunshine of your love before so it's nice to place it with an artist. they give me beatles meets led zeppelin vibes meets david bowie. very bouncy guitars and easy vibes. a smooth listen.
