Not a bad album just not really my music. Kinda sound a bit the same most of the songs, but I can tell why people like them, they of course have some good songs and a very distinct sound
So 3 Stars From Me

Not a fan at all. What is with the random laser sound? The songs have a good tune but the way the literal rest of the songs are just aren’t it. The loud, grungy vibe they have just isn’t for me. They also just drag them out for no reason, with pointless repetition of the guitar or guitar and drums, it’s boring and is just dragging it on more and more for no reason.
I have no idea what song The Wombats were on about in Let’s Dance To Joy Division, because there is nothing in these songs that are danceable.
Okay was hasty in my judgement as I had no yet finished the album, BUT the rest of the songs do sound the same except for the ONE that broke the cycle which was Interzone.
Short, actually had a faster beat and good lyrics.
Then the last song of the album comes on (I Remember Nothing ) and we go straight back to the same boring, depressing vibe we were in before Interzone. So my opinion and rating of one star still stands.

I had a great time with this album, 39 minutes went by in no time and showed me to a bunch of new songs by an artist I’ve been meaning to listen to more of.

3rd of January day but listened to fully on the 4th of January
Mrs Jackson Held Up.
The Rest Were Okay, Some I Might Like More With Further Listening And Others I Won’t Listen To Again.
The Songs Just Repeat The Same Words Again and Again And It’s Quite Boring After A While.
There Was A Couple With A Good Vibe But Most Of The Time I Was Just Waiting For It To Be Over

Some songs just dragged on, like what is with these albums and repeating the same thing again and again.
Some songs were bangers.
Some were meh and I like the Gorillaz, I just don’t think this album was fully for me.
I like a few songs like Clint Eastwood, Punk & Rock The House.

Didn’t think I’d like this album, but damn Marianne Faithfull has beautifully written lyrics and I love the stories that she tells with her music.

Really enjoyed
Loved her vibe
Accidentally listened to the whole album twice without realising and really enjoyed it
Because I had started the album, the foxy song being Nick Of Time, but wanted to que a song for when it finished so I knew when it was done. So I re~added the album as a que to add the song I wanted at the end. Once that song end a couple others I added finished, the album played again minus the first song as I was already listening to it so didn’t need to re~add it to the que.
So big win to Bonnie Raitt

Some songs were a bit slow for me, others had a good vibe and told a story which I liked.
