There is absolutely nothing about this record that I could say that hasn't been repeated in effusive praise elsewhere. I cannot believe this is 20 years old this year. Rest in peace, Amy. You gave us more than we deserved, and we asked of you far more than we had any right to.

Interesting, but also apparently quite foundational? Beautifully made, there's no doubt, even if Sufjan isn't my particular cup of tea. So funny that this comes up for me though, being a Chicago denizen. And yes, that's what I am. Am I in the minority that hates the deluxe and extended editions being the sort of default go-to on music apps? I want the original bastard record, if I want to go listen to a million demos I will but I want the record to finish when it's supposed to finish.

Definitely gotta be stoned to listen to this and appreciate it to the fullest. What was a four star on the third became a five star after three joints.

There is absolutely a chance that the existence of Lovefool renders this album an instant five star record regardless of the content of the remaining tracks. Lovefool is one of the best songs ever written, I will not be taking questions or comments.
