1001 Albums Summary

Liked the musicality and instruments and overall sound. The lyrics gave me the creeps sometimes... don't know if it's because it's from a different era or if I just didn't understand them.

Just a little too slow and instrumental for my liking. Soothing but also just not my vibe.

Was relieved to hear/see an artist I actually knew! Then realized I haven't actually heard any White Stripes songs besides the popular ones. I enjoy the musicality but some songs were so short and the vocals were too quirky for my liking.

Funky genre I don't normally listen to but really enjoy. Hard to be in a bad mood with this playing in the background.

Oh is this ska? Is that why the band name sounds familiar? It is! Some songs got blah around the middle of the album.

All of these rock albums in a row are starting to sound the same. Lots of instrumental breaks on this one, found myself tuning it out.
