1001 Albums Summary

15 step sets the tone for the album: dreamy, soothing, intimate and punchy. I need to sit on a beach at sunset and ponder my life as I listen to this.

Delivering this body of consistency, that so little achieve in a lifetime in 35 minutes is crazy. Forget Catherine, Little Simz is the real people’s princess.

Meh.

A little slow but the instrumentals are dreamy and pleasing. Each song has a different primary instrument which makes it a nice listen. Meadow music.

10s across the board. That witches laugh at the start of Off the Wall brings something out of me I can’t quite explain.

Great album. All their voices are incredible and I love me some Motown/funky RnB, however slight lack of cohesion and the album literally went in all directions.

Differentiating the art from the artist, some good songs but the latter fell short. It’s a good album but lacks variation and the songs kind of sound the same. But he’s perfected the same sound as good as he can I guess.

Great. Has one of the most iconic songs of all time, it’s fun and humourous

Good ambience. Track after track was vibey and relaxing. This could be a soundtrack for sleeping, studying, working, driving. Yes from me.
