too much talk about God but overall, a banger album.

Trout Mask Replica by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band

If you have to listen to something 7 times for it to be good. Its not good. I was waiting for this album to end and when I looked down and saw that I was only 30 minutes in, I had to call it.

insert indie band album here.

Parallel Lines by Blondie

Classic Groovy Nostalgic Pretty good, I added a few songs that I had never heard before and would listen to this again.

First song kind of lost me but the album just kept getting better and better. I wasn't the biggest fan of the lyrics, but the rhythm and flow of the lyrics were amazing. After listening for a while I couldn't help but pick out some of the bars that just caught me so off guard. "I ordered enchiladas and ate them" "Asparagus tips look yummy, yummy, yummy. Candied yams inside my tummy" Overall, pretty good but now I'm hungry. Honestly, I can't find any reason to not give 5 stars. I had a great time listening to this and would listen to it again.

Paris 1919 by John Cale

Honestly tried to give this one a listen but I kept finding myself thinking of other things. I was not able to get into the music at all and couldn't even tell you what it sounded like. Pretty forgettable, nothing distinct.

Behaviour by Pet Shop Boys

Not from the 60s, isn't jazz, isn't some experimental album that you have to listen to 7 times to get. However its some form of hip hop where nothing rhymes. Song - Earth People The chorus is jarring. "earth people, New York and California" "earth people, I was born on Juipiter" The whole album seems to be "what if I was an alien making music, with the same synth on repeat over and over, made no sense, had random samples, and made hip hop music, but also didn't know how to rhyme, and just threw in random space and science terms" 2/5 its listenable, enjoyable at times, but some of these songs are just rough to listen to
