Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Jan 21 2026

Bossa Nova and Smooth Jazz if they had a child- repetitive but relaxing, and fully instrumental.

Channel Orange by Frank Ocean
Jan 22 2026

Fluctuated between being something I really resonated with to music I didnt connect to within a single song. Its seems experimental and unconventional, but not in a typical way. Each song was as surprising as the last, in a way that kind of became a pattern?? I feel like the artist deserves more than this rating for sure, but Im going by first impression. Not my style, but I feel like I could reconnect if a friend offered.

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Jan 23 2026

More my taste. Some really nice songs, including a few I recognized. The music style seems quite disruptive. Not an album I'd listen to frequently, but still quite nice.

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Jan 24 2026

Very nice, upbeat. Singer has a nice, slightly old, sense of humour. Country isn’t exactly my thing, though.

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Jan 25 2026

Vibess. I quite like this one, not perfect but probably something I'd relisten to, and I may aquire a few favourites from this particular artist

Jan 27 2026

Rock recorded in a british countryside. Upbeat music but with quite or soft singing/voice, which makes it enjoyable and dancable but peaceful. Would be a nice soundtrack for some british rural film.

Shleep by Robert Wyatt
Jan 28 2026

HORRID first impression, but but the end of it I began to connect with the music style and relistened. Its as though a song inspired by the mood of a lullaby were being heard in a lucid dream, soft but distorted. Quite nice after getting over the first shocks of hearing the music style and you finally get used to it, but otherwise WHAT is going on with the song 'The Duchess'?? Still a nice album, id probaably add a few songs to a playlist of mine or two.

Ananda Shankar by Ananda Shankar
Jan 30 2026

Not my style, but still interesting to hear. The music was a bit harsh, but the rhythm was relaxing.

Odelay by Beck
Jan 31 2026

I did feel the vibes, but they were difficult to reach behind the screeching of an untuned unidentifiable instrument. I did enjoy it sometimes, but I guess lo-fi just isn't really my style.

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Feb 02 2026

I listened while drawing, and it created a great atmosphere. Gloomy, like a street that hasn't been visited in a while. The album cover fits it perfectly.
