Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Feb 02 2026

Wonderful, great vocals and incredibe instrumentation.

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Feb 05 2026

Excellent riffs, less dark and broody than earlier Sabs stuff. Things going a bit prog in places, not sure about 'Changes' but people like it. Opening track is utterly brilliant.

OK Computer by Radiohead
Feb 06 2026

Not as good as The Bends, not a really not a patch on Kid A. I feel, and have always felt, it is transitional and slightly overrated

I Should Coco by Supergrass
Feb 09 2026

Fresh as a daisy. Great songwriting and playing. Side 2 drags compared to superlative side 1

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash
Feb 10 2026

A couple of amazing songs, great singing throughout, wonderful harmonies. However, some awful drippy and half formed filler in places.

Feb 11 2026

Seminal album of my teenage years, one of the greatest political albums, great playing, wonderful songs.

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
Feb 12 2026

Greatest White soul album ever. Her mum comes from Tralee.

Larks' Tongues In Aspic by King Crimson
Apr 10 2026

Prog silliness, then atonal bollocks, then something beautiful but doesn't go anywhere. I didn't enjoy it, but it has great moments

Shalimar by Rahul Dev Burman
Apr 16 2026
Horses by Patti Smith
Apr 23 2026

Perfect, seminal. An album I always come back to and am never disappointed by

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
Apr 24 2026
Aug 05 2026

It's shite. Don't get this at all. Whiney cod prog with very little of interest, and I am a metal fan generally. Great musicians but left me incredibly cold.

A Seat at the Table by Solange
Aug 06 2026

Excellent, conscious and unified. Hadn't heard this and enjoyed it greatly.
