Who's Next by The Who
Feb 13 2026

Two album set with both studio recordings (album 1) and live versions (album 2). For today’s listeners with a short attention span this may be a bit much with up to three versions of the same song (remasters). Over half the songs are hits and the album features a nice crescendo.

Feb 16 2026

What more needs to be said about this album. It is considered to be one of the greatest of all time.

Queen II by Queen
Feb 21 2026

Meh… sophomore album. Not my cup of tea. I think Feddie Murcurey might be 🌈

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Feb 21 2026

Had this on while doing house keeping as background music. Not my favorite Bob Marley album. I didn’t save a single track to my reggae playlist.

Honky Tonk Heroes by Waylon Jennings
Feb 22 2026

Made it 1 1/2 tracks in and dipped. This music was not made for me. It was made for losers.

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Feb 25 2026

Nice background music for woodworking or if you’re a soft handed beard grooming, cobbler shoe hipster.

Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Feb 26 2026

The Pixies are one of my, and always have been, favorite bands since HS and I’m 55yrs young. This may not be their best album yet it still has some bangers.

Giant Steps by The Boo Radleys
Feb 27 2026

This band got by me in 90’s. I would imagine if you attended any engineering school during that time period you listened to this band on college radio. Singer puts me in the mind of Elliot Smith, however this is not that.

Highway to Hell by AC/DC
Feb 28 2026

It’s AC⚡️DC… With Bon Scott no less. Just banger after banger

This Is Fats Domino by Fats Domino
Mar 03 2026

Not my era. This music is just silly. Obviously inspired by the environment this generation grew up in, post WWII when everything seemed to be on the up and up. No Cold War vibes just money, drink and women. Makes me feel sad.

Ramones by Ramones
Mar 04 2026

They sniffed all the glue and left none for you. One noteable track Blitzkrieg Bop and the rest is over produced bubble gum punk. I mean if you like familiar… This is for “safe dangerous” punk rockers.

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Mar 06 2026

Nice background music for a doctors office waiting room.

Getz/Gilberto by Stan Getz
Mar 07 2026

File under jazz or relaxing Classic Track 1 The Girl From Ipanema

The Sun Rises In The East by Jeru The Damaja
Mar 09 2026

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels… One of my fav hip hop albums. NYC represent. Guru, Premier, Group Home…

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Mar 12 2026

This is the music that black man is playing when you get picked up hitch hiking.

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Mar 13 2026

This is the music that black man is playing when you get picked up hitch hiking.
