Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Feb 24 2026

The hits are the hits. No diamonds in the rough on this one. Bullet with Butterfly wings rips and 1979 is beautiful. Zero is pretty good. Nothing else really sticks out. I saw these guys in 2022 and Jane’s opened for them. Jane’s was way better.

Stankonia by OutKast
Feb 26 2026

The Interludes mad me LOL. This album is awesome. These guys would be a great hang. Funky with a mix of lyrical singing and rap.

The Band by The Band
Mar 03 2026

Love the piano. A couple good diamonds in the rough

Idlewild by Everything But The Girl
Mar 04 2026

Chord progressions are nice. They’re not afraid of using some nice brass melodies. Thought I would hate at first but coming around.

Wild Wood by Paul Weller
Mar 05 2026

It’s ok. I liked the raw guitar sounds. I’m not a super huge singer songwriter guy but would listen again. Might be an album you have to listen to multiple times for it to click.

Cupid & Psyche 85 by Scritti Politti
Mar 06 2026

First impression is they are the most formulated 80s band of all time. Little techno fills and wannabe iconic lines. Also why does he try and make his voice sound like that, can’t be natural.

Pornography by The Cure
Mar 07 2026

I liked it a lot. Raw cure sounds. Big drums and lots of emotion in his voice.

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Mar 08 2026

Such a good vibes album. He can take you away from where you are so easily. Smooth strong lyrics

Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
Mar 10 2026

Great listen. I can tell this is an album that if listened to over and over it gets better and better. Lots of different elements to listen for.

Stardust by Willie Nelson
Mar 11 2026

Perfect blend of happy and sad songs. Somehow Willie can stop time for the listener and have them take notice.

Mar 13 2026

I think these are perfect songs if you’re hammered and wanna break stuff. They’re kinda like an Irish version of rage against the machine. So perfect if you want to stick it to the man.

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
Mar 17 2026

So powerful. Socially impactful. Rage are influencers for many great bands after them.

Slipknot by Slipknot
Mar 20 2026

Great album. Metal innovators. So much going on in their songs, different forms of percussion, good mix of song singing and yelling. So perfect to influencer a ton of later bands.

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
Mar 21 2026

I love how many different sounds and effects they have on almost everything. Voice distortion, lots of reverb and wahhhs. I’m very impressed they mixed this all with 79 technology.

Harvest by Neil Young
Mar 25 2026
