The album has an interesting sound. I imagine people felt this was kind of a new age vibe at the time. The vocals aren’t stellar in my opinion, but have an interesting quality (don’t have a better way to describe it). Slow and soft. Kinda just weird, but also maybe giving spoken word poem vibes? No clue what was happening in The Murder Mystery (not a fan). The music is easy enough listening because it’s gentle, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to listen to it again. Melancholy. Repetitive? The songs were a bit slow and hazy at times. I can’t say I’m the best audience for this album. It screams 1980s.

Opening song is kind of jazzy, but not in an upbeat way. The harmonica on this album is actually so loud that it is physically painful.
Bob Dylan’s vocals are not really my taste…

Imagine is obviously an iconic song. Rest of the album is just so-so.

First 2000s album of the 1001 albums generator. It’s really upbeat and exciting. Not really something I can sing to, but seems like it could be a movie soundtrack.

Incredibly long songs! It’s jazzy and radiates crime tv music. Not my favorite, but pretty easy to listen to as background music.

Listened to this while I was working. It’s pretty mellow and easy background music.

Hard and fast. Can’t say this one’s my favorite.

This is insane. 3 hours of some of the most random music I’ve ever heard. I think I zoned out somewhere mid disc one so don’t ask me anything about it.

Reminiscent of every 90s teen movie.

Clocks and The Scientist. It’s really good album.

Exactly as strange as I expected.
