Catch A Fire by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Mar 09 2026

eventhough I've listened to a lot of Bob Marley, I never listened to this particular album. I enjoyed it very much, easily a timeless classic.

American Idiot by Green Day
Mar 10 2026

used to listen to it as a pre-teen so it took me back to those times. I don't listen to music like that anymore but I realized that I still enjoy it. -1 star because I couldn't listen to it again today or the next few weeks ;)

Mar 11 2026

Never listened to the full album - I liked it but also because I have a lot of respect for Queen's legacy. I guess it's not my favorite genre, but good to know!

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Mar 12 2026

I can really feel my music knowledge expanding, it's amazing! I probably would've never found that group, don't know if my parents even listened to them. I liked the mix of country, rock and funk elements, but sadly "Susie Q" is not on this album - I discovered it afterwards!

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Mar 13 2026

Beautiful album, I like it even more than Back to Black because it sounds a little more raw. I realized that I always had people in my life that would introduce me to really good music. I think I first heard this album on vacation with my friend and her parents, good memories!

Stardust by Willie Nelson
Mar 16 2026

It's a no for me.. I know he has a legacy, but I couldn't get into the music.

Forever Changes by Love
Mar 18 2026

did not listen entirely but not my favorite, although I can imagine they were important in their days!

Merriweather Post Pavilion by Animal Collective
Mar 25 2026

liked the second half more but it’s still a kind of indie music I‘m not a big fan of

Call of the Valley by Shivkumar Sharma
Mar 26 2026

yess! instrumental albums for the win!

Inspiration Information by Shuggie Otis
Mar 27 2026

I didn‘t know I knew his music! Beautiful, soulful and loooved the instrumentals!

Blackstar by David Bowie
Apr 01 2026

glad I‘m not alone with my thoughts.. I don’t like Bowie‘s singing and listening to the album felt like hard work for me. I respect Bowie‘s legacy and the story behind Blackstar released like a goodbye-present is fascinating, but this album isn’t for me.

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Apr 02 2026

I agree to a lot of the existing reviews I read. This album didn’t age well and while I can still acknowledge Biggies legacy I found the lyrics very disturbing. Also in 2026 I can’t ignore his close relationship to Diddy which leaves at least a weird feeling. I stick to my rap queens of this time Lil Kim, Queen Latifah, Foxy Brown, Missy Elliott….

Faith by George Michael
Apr 03 2026

very 80s and I like it! Not every track is a #1 hit but overall it’s fun to listen to

Be by Common
Apr 06 2026

Kanye and Dilla produced this, so there’s no way this could be bad. (I know Kanye is a menace but he produced amazing music in the early 2000s)

Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Apr 09 2026

I hate it. Whining men who can’t sing and just scream/talk 😒 ok the music gets better but it would be even better as an instrumental

Live At The Regal by B.B. King
Apr 10 2026

yes, but the audio quality is poor, which is probably an age thing. but Blues will always speak to me, melancholic, heavy but still melodic

Illmatic by Nas
Apr 13 2026

this wasn’t even the album that introduced me to Hip Hop but it shows me all the reasons why I fell in love with this genre. I feel weirdly connected to it because 1994 is my birth year, but I have no idea how New York City was in that era, thanks to Nas I get a feeling for it combined with creative lyrics and amazing samples.

Funeral by Arcade Fire
