Overall, quite nice ambient album. Great vibe, great musicians. Chill jazz, but only when the mood asks for it (not very usual, personally). Standouts: The Girl from Ipanema; Corcovado (classics)

This is Arcade Fire in their prime, with a very characteristic sound and iconic songs. That being said, not really my cup of tea, although I vibe with some of the songs (e.g. Rebellion (lies) and the classic Wake Up), while recognizing their artistry.

The Cure being The Cure. Enough said.

At times, I find it too folky for my own taste, although I can understand its overall appeal.

Meh. That being said, Blueberry Hill

More points for being clearly highly influential and for the over lasting impact left. Standout: Billy Jack. Simply amazing.

Boring and repetitive, couldn’t even finish it

The definitive Grunge album and one of the best debut albums of all time. 100/10
