Another Green World by Brian Eno

Quite a nice album actually. I am not familiar with Brian Eno’s solo work, although after listening to this album I’d say he plays a huge part in defining Roxy music’s sound. This album is a big step towards defining ambient music as a genre.

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Mar 22 2026

On a certain day it might be a vibe but so far nothing really captured my interest. If I was depressed it would’ve slapped but I wasn’t and it kinda made me miserable.

Heroes by David Bowie
Mar 23 2026

Incredible. Absolutely genius. First of all, beauty and the beast, what a start, made me want to break out in a dance. Heroes. My all time favorite song, and I would venture to say one of the best-if not the best-songs ever made. It makes me feel so many feelings and it’s just incredible. Then we have these three eerie, ethereal, even a little haunting tracks-sense of doubt, moss garden, neuköln. Absolutely love the transitions into the songs and the mood they bring. Moss garden is my favorite of the three so far, it sounds like it sparkles to me.

Illmatic by Nas
Mar 28 2026

I like life’s a bitch so far, because it is a bitch and the saxophone at the end is sexy. “Explore rap and tell me, “Nas ain’t all that” Yeah I admit I dont know hip hop that well. Perhaps someone who’s into hip hop would wax poems for Nas and this album; I’m trying to stay open minded, and despite the fact that I’m not a big fan of the genre this album’s not bad. It’s a debut album and I’d say Nas came into the 90s NY hip hop scene with a swing and I respect that.

Savane by Ali Farka Touré

I’m kinda vibing to this actually. A totally new sound for me and I’m glad to have experienced it.

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
Mar 31 2026

Objectively, a nice piano improv concert. Subjectively, I’m not into it and I zoned out halfway into the first track.

Live! by Fela Kuti

Honestly the more I get albums by African artists the more I get into them. This was quite interesting.

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Apr 02 2026

LOVE THIS. I am a Bob fan through and through and Blonde on Blonde is such an iconic album of his. First of all, Bob opens with a big “fuck u, haters gonna hate” in Rainy day Women #12 & 35. Some people might hate on the harmonica shredding but I reckon I’ve become immune to it, if anything Bob isn’t Bob without his damn harmonica. Lots of my favorite tunes on here, no songs I’d skip; the lyrics are genius, the music’s great, and his nasal croon is timeless. A really great album.

Fever To Tell by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Apr 03 2026

Karen O got a hell of a voice. I don’t mind this album, it’s pretty cool. Love the guitar and the quick pace combined with Karen’s raw vocals.

Back To Black by Amy Winehouse
Apr 07 2026

Incredible vocals. She was truly the best of her time.

Risque by CHIC
Apr 08 2026

Love it. Proper disco.

McCartney by Paul McCartney
Apr 12 2026

Super great album. Paul McCartney is a genius.

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Apr 14 2026

Lots of great tunes here. Love this album.
