1001 Albums Summary

this album is interesting to me because i love it but it has properties of albums i hate - in fact the reasons i dislike them (long and repetitive songs). It is also an interesting combo of instant hits and songs you have to kinda get into idk. Great album. mothers talk gets that white boy groovin i have cried listening to head over heels before and i actually cant remember what i was associating it with to make me cry anymore which is an interesting personal thing

love the keyboard in you are the sunshine of my life, lots of stuff i love, the iconic superstision, but it doesnt flow hugely well and i think its (nice and enjoyable) background ish music

a classic album that’s rather samey, probably suffers from my bias thinking things are ‘done’ when they’re the original. do like the genre tho

not really my thing but i respect its cultural relevance. i find adelle to be super samey. i think i havent experienced an adult breakup to apricate her lyrics

Love this album, great 80s cure. Could have more variation but a great influential goth classic

I like this stuff for casual listening, it gets an old album buff becuase if we didnt have this we wouldnt have like half the music we have now.

a kind of 4.5 ngl, really like this but its not quite a 5. interesting range for having such a signature sound
