THE MOST ICONIC HIP-HOP ALBUM EVER And for a good reason. Few records have ever been able to reach this level of lyrical density. The imagery of struggle portrayed is incredibly vivid and scary. Beat selection is out of this world. 5/5

Should try to be less whiny, it’s really annoying. On the good side some of the arrangements are quite decent.

Going into this album I was quite skeptical as I never really connected musically with folk. Luckily I was surprised. Great songwriting paired with some interesting instrumentals really made it a nice journey. This record hovers between a 3/5 and a 4/5 for me.

Incredibly dull and soulless for an album which is trying to send a message. Sounds like it was made by a bunch of rich 14 year olds.

Produced quite well, but the combination of his voice and the slow jazz-rock really made this record forgettable.

A post rock classic. This album is incredibly magnetic and paints a vivid cold atmosphere. It does require attention tho.

Some cool riffs but it’s really just dad rock. Forgettable.

As a massive shoegaze fan this album has never really clicked with me completely. Lacking vocals and a tendency to be to strongly connected to its rock roots are what really put me off.

An album that would sound old in the 60s released in 1980. And to add it is 40 songs long, no thank you.
