Solid listen. Sounds like if Modest Mouse went punkier

Girl From Ipanema is a goddamn classic, but the rest of the album was just pretty solid. Nothing blew my socks off, but still an enjoyable listen. Would probably jump to a 5/5 on the beach with a beer in one hand and a joint in the other.

Definitely my vibe. Pretty out there at times but grounded enough to make it feel like a stable listen.

It was. Okay. Not really my vibe. A lot of it reminded me of “Will Smith’s nice clean rap” and I couldn’t take it very seriously.

I started out thinking I was gonna rate this on the low side, but I just kinda kept grooving to it. Weird as hell, but solid.

I was stoked when this came up. I hadn’t listened to it since probably around high school or a bit after and remember loving it. Purple Haze and Hey Joe? Hell yeah. I hate to say that it just doesn’t hit the same way as it used to. It feels so much more noisy and sloppy than I remember, and that felt a little off-putting. There’s still no denying what Jimi and this album did for music during that era, but it’s gonna be a sad 3⭐️ from me.

I really vibed with this. It started out feeling kind of “generic-weird”, but after a second listen it really started sticking with me. Probably one I’ll come back to semi-regularly.

Loved this one. Not an everyday jam, but a very solid jazzy pseudo-reggae album. Scratches the Marley itch.

This album was good, but it’s no Space Oddity. Still gonna give it a 4 though.

Solid album. I could easily see this becoming part of the rotation. Sonically interesting without being just noise, which a lot of electronic music can easily drift into for me. Really got into these grooves. 4.5⭐️
