Good instrumentals held back by the lyrics

Not doing it for me

I don't lack an appreciation for musicals, theater, opera, etc, but there is only one word for this album- theaterslop.

Can't complain

A plethora of styles and instruments- quite interesting.

It's alright, best part is the drum samples- lyrics are okay.

I enjoyed the song Rings around the world. Other stuff did not stand out.

Variety isn't bad for punk. Pretty decent for what it is

Bongos! You've likely heard this album via the samples. Grooving, moving, what's not to like?

Claptonslop- he's done much better

Huge talking heads fan; however, forced to give this a 4. Some outstanding stuff like "found a job", "take me to the river", and "thank you for sending me an angel", but some tracks don't thrill you. Additionally, these songs are done better in different albums or the stop making sense concert film.

Decent. Not sure why people say pet sounds is the best beach boys album

Okay, pretty predictable as to be expected with a lot of blues. Held back by the worst harmonica you're heard in your life.

Pretty good, 3.5ish. not the beatles best album as it leans towards pop.

For what it is, a 4, in isolation, a 3. A little too smooth to be greater than a 3.
