Solid album really liked this one super funky

you know it does get annoying but there's enough that I like from this to fit it at a perfect 3. like very solid right in the middle for me personally

idk i don't love it. my little brother had a phase where he was obsessed with zz top and would play it on the boombox so much so maybe that soured it. great beards though good for them

not a fan but i know this was important so respect and credit where credit is due

Really like this one, had me moving and grooving at my desk at work. I remember hearing this growing up and it definitely takes me back to helping my dad with projects around the house in the best way.

honestly I get it. I dig the feminine rage. I won't listen to it all the time. but i could see myself returning to this when I'm in a mood. 4.5/5

i really love this one it's such a vibe. i'm also like 99% sure I had Santana's greatest hits downloaded on my MP3 player back in the day because I burned my dad's CD

I like the use of random instruments like the xylophone and organ and bongos? That aren’t consistently used in the album but like randomly only in certain songs. It felt a little experimental. I HATE their big song Lips like Sugar. I think it was overplayed on 80s on 8 (the Sirius xm station that my dad would play constantly) but I didn’t hate this album. Not my favorite but I can appreciate it

I don’t like U2 at all, but like they were influential I guess so I will give them 3 stars. Also no one should be named Bono.

anyway here's...wait...no wonderwall on this???? oh no Actually, I find the lead singer's voice super annoying and I hate the way he sounds. If I could separate the voice from the songs, I think they're be great but good lord it's really irritating to me, like he's so whiny sounding. Maybe it's because he's british???? maybe that's the real reason the band broke up tbh i wouldn't rule it out

Another dad classic. I love the drums in this so much. More songs need good drums. Give me drums we want drums!

ya like jazz? I LOVE jazz! This is my favorite album so far and it's not even close. Those cats were COOKING!!!! I can't even explain it but this hit so differently for me. It's so playful and fun and beautiful and exciting and somehow calming all at the same time. None of the instruments felt like they were competing, they all just worked together so perfectly. 10/10 for me. I need to get this record to listen to at home and I need to familiarize myself with more jazz and music history.

I liked the first song, then it felt a little too similar to Train after. I still like it better than Train but idk I would probably like it better if I was on a dock or a boat? It’s a festive choice though very appropriate for 4th of July

Not as great as Heaven or Las Vegas but still pretty good 4.5/5
