1001 Albums Summary

Nice and grungy, Tonight, Tonight is a classic. Like some of the slower songs a lot.

Very nice, clean production and sound, Jackson's voice is not particularly my favourite in terms of style but undeniably excellent. Liked "Rock with You" and "She's Out of My Life". Impossible to listen without tapping ones toes.

Super grungy and fun, expressive vocal performance from Kurt. The crowd and ad-libs are enjoyable.

Kind of intersting but feels like it takes a long time to do nothing. The compositions/ instrumentations are cool.

Maybe lacks the tenderness I expected, I feel it is worse for it. I think Simon's musical and vocal style lends itself better to a kind of music this album is sparsely populated by. Some nice tracks (Duncan, Mother and Child Reunion) but nothing I adore sadly.

Just bangers, the beginning of Post-Punk.

Actually not bad for a country album, still didn't particularly love it.

A very pleased and interesting folk album. His voice and intonation is unique and the writing is excellent.

Bleh disco funk. Some of the bass lines are fun.
