Revolver by Beatles
Jun 16 2026

Great listen. Some classics on here like Elenor Rigby, yellow Submarine. Always lovely to hear a remaster - however I wonder how different the original recordings sounded!

Deserter's Songs by Mercury Rev
Jun 17 2026

Was a good listen!! Eclectic AF. Liked the orchestration - lots of midi. Goddess on a Hiway in particular stood out. And then the first half of Delta Sun was a bangerrr. Admittedly the outro was a little bizarre lol

Mothership Connection by Parliament
Jun 18 2026

Good listen. Lots of sing-alongable sections. Sometimes overly repetitive but picturing in a live setting I get this would be very fun to sing along to. Star Child! ✨

Close To You by Carpenters
Jun 19 2026

Was pretty chill! Enjoyed the harmonies. Would like to check out more of their music as I know they had a lot of influence on folk/pop music at the time.

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Jun 23 2026

Great listen. The first song got me hype and sent off into the rest of the album!

Rejoicing In The Hands by Devendra Banhart
Jun 24 2026

Acid Folk! I liked the album, felt like it had some root folk influenced but also a lot of spacey almost Grateful Dead vibes.

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
Jun 30 2026

Pink Floyd is not my particular flavor of classic rock but I really enjoyed this listen. Lots of MIDI and orchestras patches that caught my attention. Would def go back for a relisten

The Colour Of Spring by Talk Talk
Jul 01 2026

This was an interesting vibe! I thought the first few songs didn’t hook me as much as the Give It Up toward the end. The singer had a very interesting voice, Michael McDonald esk. Liked a lot of the instrumentation too they chose too. Very unique. Don’t know why I didn’t LOVE it, think that there’s a lot of space in the music where I felt that not much was going on, so maybe slightly lackluster of an album for me. Very happy to have been exposed to this one regardless!

The Stranger by Billy Joel
Jul 02 2026

Alright - I am GENUINELY embarrassed to give my first 5 star rating to a Billy Joel album but I do feel it deserves it. Every one of these songs is a HIT. Personally don’t care much for Italian Restaurant, but that still leaves Only The Good, Anthony’s Song, Vienna. I mean these are anthems and for some reason he was able to put them all on a pretty short album. I think most curiously, I wonder why Billy gets a lot of hate. Most ppl I know don’t like his music, but I do think his song writing and piano playing is really dope.

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Jul 03 2026

Incredible listen. Never sat down to actively listen to Dr Dre, and this was the perfect introductory album for me. Everything from the big name features, to the immaculate transitions between songs made this a great experience. My only reason for not giving it a 5 is that I found the transitionary tracks like $20 Pyramid and Doctors office to be abrasive. This might also be what ppl love/this isn’t even the music so it shouldn’t hold that much weight. But that was my experience with it. Would definitely revisit and grateful I know this collection now.

Jul 06 2026

As expected, the lyrics were incredible. My wife and I have loved Blowing in the Wind for years so I was excited to listen to the whole collection. In particular I loved masters of war. Wild how relatable the lyrics are to even today. All that said, I can’t say I am a huge fan of the timbre of Bob Dylan’s music. I’m a huge John Denver fan for example, love folk, but I feel that Bob Dylan’s music lacks a certain type of musicality that I look for. That’s why I gave this one a lower rating, but his lyrical genius bright this back up to an average 3 for me

Duck Rock by Malcolm McLaren
Jul 08 2026

Very eclectic. Not my particular style, didn’t really draw me in.

Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies
Jul 13 2026

Very eclectic listen. Was into the multi genre

Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan
Jul 14 2026

Giving this 5 for two reasons. Foremost because I was generally surprised and how much I enjoyed it. The grooves/progressions were really nice. And two (part of one), I couldn’t believe that I recognized like 50%+ of the songs. I couldn’t name a steely dan song to save my life, but clearly I know it. So look forward to becoming more familiar with his hits and the discography.

Rio by Duran Duran
Jul 20 2026

Was a great listen! Makes me realize that 80s music was pretty rocking. I don’t believe I’ve heard these songs before but I felt a sense of familiarity with the sound in general. Made the experience very cozy and kept me interested

Jul 22 2026

First time listening to an album by them! Was a little underwhelmed and thought the sound was very consistent between songs. Thought his singing style was more talking and sliding then singing. Wasn’t my favorite but enjoyed learning the album!

Arrival by ABBA
Jul 27 2026

Enjoyable! Liked each song but feel like some of their other bangers are on different albums.

Jul 29 2026

Big fan - folky but modern. Was surprised to see release of 2009. Actually gave me Leonard Cohen vibes too. Would definitely revisit.

Live At Leeds by The Who
Jul 31 2026

Not a huge fan of The Who but I thought this live album was pretty good! There were definitely a few anthems on this that got me hype

Aug 04 2026

Good listen, love the effects they put on the vocals. Always sounds like there are two singers in unison but I know that’s just like a splitter effect. Guitar tones were pretty neat as well, lead player can def shred.

Kid A by Radiohead
Aug 07 2026

Very different from Ok Computer which is the only other album I know by them. Such a beautiful voice and love how mysterious the band sound is, but I did feel like I his album was a bit TOO ambient. Almost like they had too much fun experimenting with MIDI in the 90s lol. Still enjoyed it but wasn’t expecting such a divergence from Ok Computer.

Getz/Gilberto by Stan Getz
Aug 10 2026

Fuck. So lush and beautiful. Never thought smooth jazz would hit so hard. Girl from Ipanema was a great kick off to the album

Elvis Presley by Elvis Presley
Aug 17 2026

Was surprised by how much I liked this one! Lots of blues. Also noting that I always thought of Elvis as a Bass, but he totally has range! A very different yet sweet tenor sound.
