Enjoyable / very listenable big band / swing album

I don't think this is a bad album but I also don't think Alice in Chains is for me

The first half is… … …killer.

Feels like you could put this on at almost any time and it would sound good; need to revisit and listen closer

Never listened to much Lana but this was pretty good - only downside is that it’s impossible to hear anything without headphones

Similar to Hot Fuss - jam-packed 1st half, less memorable 2nd half

Might be lazy to say but this reminds me of some Beatles records (in a very good way)

I honestly can’t tell whether I like the ZZ Top “sound” but 2 stars seems too low for an album I didn’t necessarily dislike

Absolutely love the instrumentation but some of the talk singing really throws me off

3+ stars for the songs, 4 stars out of respect for its influence

2 stars not because it’s bad (shoutout breaking the law) but bc I don’t know if I’ll ever be in the mood to listen to this again

Zeppelin is a big gap in my knowledge - this album definitely listens like 1 cohesive album + 1 album of misc, but it’s still so good
