1001 Albums Summary

A lot of covers of songs I recognize, not sure if I like these versions more than the originals. Top songs: Hurt, The Man Comes Around, Give My Love to Rose, Bridge Over Troubled Water, We'll Meet Again.

Bizarre album, feels to me like a bunch of songs thrown together, not sure if that is the intention/influential part. Top songs: Locked Inside, Tight Rope, Wondaland

I am usually not a huge fan of primarily instrumental songs, and that was all of this album so it has a bit of a disadvantage from that standpoint, has done well given my predisposition tho. Top songs: Black Magic Woman / Gypsy Queen, Se a Cabo, Hope You're Feeling Better

This album surprised me a lot, first time listening to CHVRCHES and I really liked it! Top songs: The Mother We Share, By the Throat, Lies, Under the Tide, Recover

Very solid album, quite a bit of variety despite being generally the same vibe song to song. Overall I thought the instruments sounded really good especially the guitar but was not quite as impressed by the vocals. Top songs: Roadhouse Blues, Waiting for the Sun, You Make Me Real

Really enjoyed this album, obviously a bit carried by Seven Nation Army, but that is such a high bar so maybe unfair to compare to. Top Songs: Seven Nation Army, Black Math, In The Cold, Cold Night, Ball and Biscuit, Little Acorns, The Air Near M Fingers

Really liked this album. Found some of the lyrics a bit goofy but generally just really enjoyed pretty much all of the songs. Top songs: Thinkin Bout You, Sweet Life, Super Rich Kids, Pyramids, Lost, Bad Religion, Forrest Gump

I am already familiar with this album so happy to see it on the list. Not a huge metal fan, but I can definitely see the appeal after listening again. Enter Sandman goes so hard. Top songs: Enter Sandman, Holier Than Thou, Nothing Else Matters
