Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
Jul 07 2026

beautiful album. really made me feel like i was floating. production was beautiful and simple.

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Jul 09 2026

I can appreciate aspects of this album and the doors as artists but I really was a little bored with everything. When I thought things would get interesting the song would go to a place that was expected. Realistically this is not an album I would put on just for fun.

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Jul 10 2026

There were production elements of it that i did really enjoy. I think there were a handful of songs on there that were fun and kept me curious. However, I think one of the worst parts of this album was the mixing. There were songs that felt so overwhelming just from the amount of high end and sort of fuzziness throughout. Also felt like the first half of the album was a bit stronger and more memorable than the last parts. Wasn’t super revolutionary for me but did have some moments of excitement with their sound selections and production.

Jul 13 2026

This was a pretty inspiring album for me. I listened to one song on it a while ago and never got the chance to sit down and listen to the rest. I really had a fun time with it.

Doolittle by Pixies
Jul 14 2026

I felt like the second half of it was better for some reason. I want to like this album but wasn’t really feeling it. I appreciate it for its influence on other incredible musicians but i think it’s just not my favorite. Really nice musicianship and mixing on this!

Ghosteen by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Jul 15 2026

This was truly such a boring and nothing album. I really don’t have anything good to say about it. barely made it through, by the halfway point i just started scanning through the songs. Really not a notable album.

Marquee Moon by Television
Jul 17 2026

This was a super influential album for me in high school. It has so much in it that continues to inspire me, this is definitely a no skip album for me :)

Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes
Jul 21 2026

Pretty wonky guitar and bass sounds on this. I enjoyed some of it, i’m just not a huge fan of Ganos vocals. Melodically kind of uninteresting to me outside of blister in the sun unfortunately.

En-Tact by The Shamen
Jul 22 2026

Had some fun production stuff after the first half of the album. Hear me and Make It Minimal had some cool moments and were the songs that stood out to me the most. Pretty decent album

Coles Corner by Richard Hawley
Jul 23 2026

I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I had never heard of Richard Hawley before and wasn’t expecting much. This album is filled with really beautiful instrumentation and arrangement. The ocean was probably my favorite off this album, really nice melodies and lyrics. He does have a really nice voice that’s easy to listen to as well. Very happy with this one :)

...And Justice For All by Metallica
Aug 03 2026

Some really nice guitar tones, especially on One. I think it’s a pretty solid album, I’ve never been a huge metalhead but this was one of a good handful of metal albums that i’ve really enjoyed.
