Ts lowk a vibe. Good for summer. Something you can turn on and play in the background, but also has moments where you can really get into the lyrics and structure.
Pretty easy listen but kinda repetitive at times. Makes sense why people like it but not my personal favorite
VERY similar to green river, but I feel like most of their albums are. However, that doesn’t take away from the fact that this is a VERY good album. Nice peaceful vibe, very relaxing, very summer.
Very 80s sounding which can be unique and refreshing but can easily get repetitive. I feel like many moments on this album capture the unique sound perfectly while others just become overwhelming with synth sounds. No matter how complex a song is or thinks it is, it has to be interesting for complexity to really work. Overall pretty strong and consistent, though I don’t know how much I’ll revisit it. I don’t get the limelight hype, it’s a standard 80s song, higher quality than others but nothing spectacular.
It’s just mid. Do t regret listening but don’t see myself coming back to it
I don’t remember the three stooges ever being shirtless or singing, but maybe that’s just me.
Not even halfway through the album and this is already a 5. Easily the best album I’ve gotten off this app. Reminded me of what real good music was. While I understand why some of these SHOULD be listened to, this was one of the few that I agree HAS to be heard. In a pool of “influential” music, this one stands out as truly masterful which some of the others failed to do.
Let’s all just take a moment to remember the attacks Courtney love made on Kurt cobains mental health. Is she worse than Kanye? Maybe
AND the album was mid and inconsistent
There is a chunk of good songs on this, but some of them just sound like background music at an old club. The back half of the album is stronger than the first but still has some sleepers. It falls victim to the same problem as every double album I’ve heard before, good enough songs get thrown in with great, focused ones and it gets a little messy.
I like this one. Very soothing voice and instrumental. Like a lullaby
Everybody talks about this being one of the most depressing albums ever made, but I don’t see it. I can tell it’s very personal and emotional but it also has a nice soothing aspect to it. I like it, but I think it’s slightly overrated.
Nonstop energy for 30 minutes. This is what a “raw” album should sound like, otherwise you end up with good potential being recorded in what sounds like a dumpster *cough* Exile on Main Street *cough*. This is straight moshpit anger music, compared to muffled, blues/country influenced noise.
Another good one, let’s keep the streak up please.
Their 4th best album yet still a 5. Can a band get more peak. Idgaf if it’s glaze
