1001 Albums Summary

Got through about 5 songs, not bad. Feels repetitive on some of the tracks. Lyrics didn't stick with me

Album 2: This kicks rocks man. Hotel California? More like Motel Waste-of-my-time-nia. Listening to this is like listening to a screeching chalkboard.

Rock & Roll band is an incredible song but is also kind of where the album peaks. The songs sound repetitive after with let me take you home tonight as arguably the albums weakest track.

First two songs - preface and lights on are hard listens. But the album builds songs after that incredibly well. Pendulum is an incredible song. Hi-hits and claps work incredibly well with the synths on the album.

Don't quite understand why the album art looks like Silence of the Lambs. -2 on the rating cause I'm actively creeped out by the album cover. With that being put aside, I'd give it a 80%. Great riffs and solos. I feel as if I'm a cowboy on a roadtrip through Route 66.

No Cars Go is quite good, but the rest of the album is a slog to get through. Had it as background music when working just to get through this one.
