1001 Albums Summary

Really good album.

Fun album. Not that deep.

If I didn’t know what was in the band’s future, I might rate this lower. But I can hear the origins of Kid A and Amnesiac in between all of typical British boy grunge on this album, so it gets a 4.

I know some people rate this as the Beatles’ best, but it’s really uneven. The great songs are transcendant, but the less great songs are forgettable. The Beatles’ uneven album is still better than most bands’ best.

Confirmed. I don’t like Johnny cash. His flat voice and predictable guitar riffs are not for me.
