1001 Albums Summary

Not something I normally listen too! It was very story forward which is cool. I thought it was interestingly similar to hymns in the lyricism. I kept thinking that it sounded like a hymn. Also, "she never met a man (she didn't like)" is just Jolene but talking to the POS man instead.

This album was a little samey and repetitive but had definite highlights! I did not expect to know any of the songs on here because I did not recognize the band but I had heard bang a gong before. Fav: "bang a gong (get it on) and "lean woman blues"

I did not expect to like this as much as I did. I've never listened to Leonard Cohen before. I feel like I need to listen to it 100 more times to get everything out of it!

Ethereal, lots of interesting sounds. I liked it more than I was anticipating. Fav: "Once in a lifetime"

This album felt like one song or piece of art. I really liked the use of tempo changes to give you that sense of going on a journey. Its almost like this rock song was a ballad.... guys I think I'm on to something ;) Also shouldn't we all panic about this satanic music?
