Revolver by Beatles
Aug 06 2026

I had an opinion about this album that it was OK but overrated. I re-listened to it today and I stand by that opinion. This album feels like having a moderately attractive man hit on me in a bar. It’s not offputting but it’s not going anywhere either.

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails
Aug 07 2026

This album falls into a category come across frequently with music that is critically acclaimed. I find that I respect this more than I would say I necessarily enjoy it. It’s a very cool. I love what he’s doing, but it’s probably not something I would listen to.

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
Aug 10 2026

Sounds like hearing skim milk.

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Aug 11 2026

Man, I just do not like arcade fire. There’s so much good in rock in the world, but this is not it. I could see an argument for including their first album “Funeral” but yikes. Not a fan.

The Wildest! by Louis Prima
Aug 12 2026

Really glad this was one of the recommendations. I had heard many of these songs, but never sat down and heard the album. The trumpet riff on just a gigolo maybe the best thing I’ve heard this year.

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Aug 13 2026

Its not as bad as i remember but i feel like I hear whatever it is that people who do not like dark side of the moon are hearing when they listen to that album. This is Too quirky for me. I like that they’re weird but it’s not my flavor of weird.

Guero by Beck
Aug 21 2026

I am here for Beck and all his weirdness. Not my flavor of tunes but no real complaint either.

Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen
Aug 24 2026

I really like what Bruce Springsteen is doing as a person and an artist, but probably would not listen to his music

Moondance by Van Morrison
Aug 26 2026

I adore this album. Absolutely one of my all time favorites.

Fuzzy by Grant Lee Buffalo
Aug 28 2026

It don’t hate it but Ryan Adams just did this much better I think.

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Aug 31 2026

Man. I have memories of openly dislike in this album. At this point, I would say it’s fine. I feel like there’s a lot of really good indie rock, but this is not yet. It’s not terrible, but I’m not gonna see it out.

Love the fun weirdness here.

Palo Congo by Sabu
Sep 03 2026

This is fun. Not mad at it.

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Sep 07 2026

My sweet lord is an all time great track but overall I’d say the album is just ok.

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Sep 08 2026

Great mix of Radio hits and some weird experimental. No skips but in a different way compared to Rumors.

The Clash by The Clash
Sep 10 2026

Just the best mix of punk with rock and roll. So fun, catchy without being poppy. Good spread of musical influences so it’s never one dimensional. Great album.

Sep 11 2026

I don’t consider myself a big fan, but this is definitely the most enjoyable album of his I’ve listened to.
