1001 Albums Summary

Not my style but easy listening.

Great instrumentals. The history is sadly lost on me, but it feels like a nice representative album of its genre.

Great album to put on while you cook/dance in the kitchen.

Maybe it's because I'm a fan of 80s rock so this album just happens to be more my style. Can get a little long/repetitive though. Favorites: Red Eyes, An Ocean in Between the Waves

Not my style and I found the sound a bit boring, but it sounds very "clean" and easy to listen to.

I liked Grounds for Divorce but the rest of the album was pretty bland and forgettable.

The music has a great atmosphere and I don't think more needs to be said about Ella Fitzgerald. Sadly I couldn't listen to this for 3 hours.

So I get that this is supposed to be a concept album and tried to keep that in mind, but sadly it just didn't interest me much musically.

Hilarious backstory. A nice listen, though I might have found it less enjoyable if I wasn't so interested in instrumentals and classical music.

Fun dance/synth pop, much more up my alley. Rent is hilarious.

I really like The Passenger but don't think anything pushed it above 3/5 for me.

This is the kind of music I started this project to find. Even if it's ultimately not for me, I probably never would've stumbled upon it on my own and it was a fun listen. The electronica sound is enjoyable, but each song is pretty much one 30 sec sample on repeat.

Actually thought I would like this more as a rock fan but maybe it's just not my taste.

Beautiful voice, just not my type of music.

Maybe this album just has the unfortunate coincidence of being like the 10th English rock band in my rotation but I'm not sure what's so special about it to be on this list.

I've heard of the album before this list but I still don't see what all the fuss is about. Just ok for me.
