1001 Albums Summary

Love that the first track is a psychedelic radio talk show. I listened to the Black Keys growing up, and I feel like I just listened to what they listened to growing up. Like Ain't no telling Like Castles made of sand It was a great album. The guitar was the star and it was amazing. Im not sure if I would listen to again? It feels very theatrical. But also very rock and roll. Im in love with my car sounds like that one Spongebob episode, or I guess it would be the other way around. '39 took a western turn. The band does incredible on their instruments. Love the drums. I dont know if its the high pitch, or the way the lyrics are sang, but not in love with his voice. You'd have to be in a certain mood to listen to this album, ie going to a show, wanting to experience something. I dont think ill listen to the album again, but ill listen to some songs again... in a certain mood. Production for this album seemed insane. Very theater very over the top. Running up the hill really is a bop. Mother stands for comfort has some musicality choices that are not for me. I love Jessie Ware. This sounds like her, or like similar Hendrix with the black keys, is an influence of hers. Loved waking of the Witch. Will be keeping that one in the back.
