Songs seem pretty forgettable unfortunately
Interesting background for the recording--25 takes and none of them were satisfactory so they were edited into one album. Definitely have a bias for some nice jazz, liked "Ba-lue Bolivar Ba-lues-Are" a lot.
"Do It Again" was a banger, the rest of it was alright
I previously had only heard "Son of a Preacher Man" and had no idea that Dusty Springfield was British. This album was certainly quite nice to listen to and Dusty Springfield has a great voice, but I think I'd rather just listen to the Shirelles for instance
