1001 Albums Summary

Classic… liked the music; his voice wears on me over time. There is a Light and Frankly Mr. Shankly are really good.

Decent music… Iggy is a cross between Mick Jagger, Jim Morrison, and David Bowie vocally… very much high energy punk..

Awesome album… some of Queen’s best work.

Album has a bright, fuzzy, effortless alt-rock sound, but the mood is a little detached and bittersweet. It feels catchy and casual on the surface, yet emotionally restless underneath. Okay but meh.

Great album… just really dark. Driving bass and drums…

Just not my style… never did like Hynde’s voice… bass is cool… guitar decent… but definitely recognizable and distinct

Not my jam.

I really liked it. The guitarist pushed sharper riffs, glam feel, and driving momentum. The bass and drums are more assertive and make the songs. Sure there were songs that were meh, but several were good.

Songs like One, And Justice for All, and Harvester of Sorrow are eye opening. But too much of the album is still to technical / thrash… not like Master of Puppets or Ride the Lightening… just not classic love to listen to like the Black album.
