when the cool shoeshine hits got really excited when this album was pulled. i love the funky monkeys very dearly and honestly ive come to like their self-titled much more as i've gotten older. i do think knowing how much they step up their game on the following albums is keeping this at an 8 but man. i miss their trip hop sound!
