Madman Across The Water by Elton John
Sep 17 2026

Didn't love it. Didn't hate it. Not a huge Elton John fan. Seemed pretty generic did not move me

Sep 18 2026

I am between a 4 and a 5, but had to go with a 5. This is a fantastic album from R.E.M that combines the best of REM with a nice pop twist so that it has that mass appeal while not loosing its essence.

The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra
Sep 21 2026

Enjoyed this album a lot. Thought it was going to feel more dated but that was not the case

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Sep 23 2026

certified classis. drums a little rough, but overall a fantastic album

Sep 24 2026

Hard to really judge this album. First song is a banger, the rest was just noise on first listen. I think more listens would help but not sure it is worth the investment here

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Sep 25 2026

Enjoyable. Had heard a couple of these songs before I think

Elephant by The White Stripes
Sep 28 2026

Classic really. Jack White in his purest form

Tommy by The Who
Sep 29 2026

I know it is groundbreaking. The production is good. But also meh it is standard prog rock form 1969. Also the who are just ok. Who needs a rock opera. It is very long

Kenya by Machito
Oct 01 2026

Very listenable. Probably could've died without it but was nice

Movies by Holger Czukay

:thumbs up:

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Oct 06 2026

yeah.. very ok

Broken English by Marianne Faithfull
Oct 07 2026

This was good. The john lennon cover was something. But overall very enjoyable

Fred Neil by Fred Neil
Oct 08 2026

Nice, didn't really rock my world.

Low by David Bowie
Oct 12 2026

Enjoyable. Would probably need more time to truly appreciate

Daydream Nation by Sonic Youth
Oct 14 2026

Absolute bangers front to back

Oct 15 2026

In some ways I think John did a good job separating form the beatles, and in other ways just sounds like normal John

Parklife by Blur
Oct 16 2026

On first listen 2/5, but after another listen its aight. Not 1001 before I die but good

Illmatic by Nas
Oct 19 2026

Probably wrong, but gonna give this guy 4/5. No doubt this is a great album and I think it does deserve to go on this list, but the outdated production and lyric driven song are just not 100% for me

Who's Next by The Who
Oct 20 2026

Pretty good, much better than Tommy. Singles are absolute bangers, the rest is mid. Like a 3.8/5 but rounding up

Darklands by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Oct 21 2026

Nothing to write home about. A bigger fan of their first album, without the more shoegazey guitar feels like it is really missing something

Bad by Michael Jackson
Oct 22 2026

Some good singles and obv MJ is an icon (for better or worse) but the album for me just did not work. Maybe heard the songs too many times but a generic over produced pop album that doesn't seem to have the same MJ spunk as Thriller

Lust For Life by Iggy Pop
Oct 23 2026

4/5. Did not realize iggy pop was in the stooges but you can really hear it

Dire Straits by Dire Straits
Oct 27 2026

3/5. Singles were good and I liked the vibe but not sure I'll go back to it

BEYONCÉ by Beyoncé
Oct 28 2026

Against my better judgement giving this a 4/5. The singles are absolute bangers, especially partition. But the lyrics are quite vapid throughout the albums and a good amount of filler, could have cut this down to 45 minutes and it would be great

Ocean Rain by Echo And The Bunnymen
Oct 29 2026

Decent album. Didn't love it or hate it, fairly generic 80s music

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Oct 30 2026

While extremely cheesy, and probably not worth the rating, giving this one a 4/5. The opera aspect is ridiculous but works, and reminds me of Rocky Horror Picture Film which is awesome so for that was definitely worth the listen

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
Nov 02 2026

Just fine. Not as good as later Stones albums by any means

Parachutes by Coldplay
Nov 03 2026

Man, this one was rough. Maybe with more listens I would come around. But like a bad mix between radiohead and U2. Yellow is the best song by far, it has enough sound to carry Chris Martin's rather shrill voice. The rest is boring piano on rather simplistic chord changes and lyrics that leave you asking why. Why do I want a yellow sky?

Third by Soft Machine
Nov 04 2026

Very enjoyable. A little ambient. Not sure I get the hate. I hAvE tO hAvE wOrDs In My MuSiC #articmonkeys

Live At Leeds by The Who
Nov 05 2026

Was very close to giving this 1 star. Pretty ok live music from everyone's least favorite popular 60's band. Did anyone really need to hear Tommy live before dying? Do not get the hype for the Who at all, could not make it through the whole album
