Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Oct 12 2026

I've recently been getting into more jazz and while I'm still a beginner, even I was able to note the immaculate craft and composition of the album. Such mellow and entrancing music, it was really a treat

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
Oct 13 2026

This one was hard for me to stomach, at least the first and the final track. Most of the meat of the album was alright, but not really something I typically enjoy. The final song having genuine and literal farting on it made me so mad for a short period of time that I was sincerely just giving it a zero for the sheer disrespect of it, but I gathered myself and tried to see it as an artistic statement, but I cant help but feel that I was being fucked with.

Definitely Maybe by Oasis
Oct 14 2026

I was really excited to see that my album for the day was Oasis, as I had listened to a couple of their bigger songs before and really enjoyed them, and this time was no exception. While I did enjoy a couple of songs, mostly it didnt hit for me in the way I thought it would. It was still a great listen, just didnt leave me with any new favorites to add to my rotation.

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Oct 15 2026

This was a stellar album, nearly every song was immensely enjoyable and fun and it had so many different flavors during its expansive run time. It also contains nearly every one of the bands most earwormy songs in my opinion. This was a super entertaining album.

Pretenders by Pretenders
Oct 16 2026

So unfortunately I thought most of this album was pretty ass, it just mostly didnt sound good. There was one single song worth a damn, so that saves it from a one star

Harvest by Neil Young
Oct 17 2026

This was a really enjoyable album. Im already partial to the musician, so I had a feeling id like his work. The album however is a little on the short side but I think the fact I just wanted more is a good sign I really enjoyed the album. Its hard to say it its a four or a five yet though, I'm currently feeling a four.

Oct 18 2026

This was an alright album, I did enjoy its comments on the resistance to conformity but the weight of nonconformity. While I did deeply resonate with that message, I never really enjoyed many of the songs sonically, not many catchy tunes or hummable melodies, which unfortunately, does matter alot to my horrid npc brain.

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Oct 19 2026

This was an amazing album, a really wonderful listening. I dont have any specific examples that stuck out as I typically do my first listen blind and dont look at my phone as I just let the album transport me (the first listen IS very important) but on future listens I can see this easily going from a strong four to a hearty five.

Are You Experienced by Jimi Hendrix
Oct 20 2026

While its an entertaining listen, it was not able to turn me on to psychedelic rock either. Purple Haze is the opener and of course its a classic, and while plenty other tracks on the album are also plenty good, it still didn't do the hooking necessary to convert me into being a psychedelic rock lover. Its a fun time, but I dont see myself returning to it any time soon.

Bongo Rock by Incredible Bongo Band
Oct 21 2026

This was a surprisingly fun album, I was not expecting to enjoy a bongo heavy band as much as I did. It had a heavy 70s vibe and I spent the whole time really enjoying myself. Its probably not entering regular rotation but since I did really enjoy it during my time listening, I feel comfortable with a four star rating.
