Birth Of The Cool by Miles Davis

I like Kind Of Blue better, but I dig this one. Also, fuck Israel, free Palestine

Eruption still goes hard This style has been emulated to the point of being cheesy, but, like, I get how this blew people's minds at the time This whole album is an unfortunate victim of overexposure Ain't Talkin Bout Love is also pretty solid I appreciate the impact it made, not really something I'm itching to revisit.

Grace by Jeff Buckley

Love his voice, love the guitar work Title track is sick. Kinda sounds like a precursor to Muse and Radiohead and the like. Maybe a little Opeth too? Hallelujah is the weakest track, but only because Leonard Cohen made all other covers of that song obsolete

Hounds Of Love by Kate Bush

Not really my thing. She's got a great voice, but the dated synths are pretty cheesy, all the songs more or less sound the same to me, and it just doesn't really do much else to engage me.

Holy shit, I forgot how plagued with boomer rock this fucking list is Title track is great, can't deny. Solo in the second half goes hard. Not horrible, still not something I'm gonna listen to on repeat or anything.

The arrangements and lyrical work are strong enough for me to be very forgiving of the monotonous vocals, but I truly think these songs deserve a much more emotional performance.
