Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Oct 19 2026

Love when the harmonica came on in ‘Hey Hey, My My’. Powderfinger is really good. I prefer the Harvest Moon era though, I expected more harmonica!

Buena Vista Social Club by Buena Vista Social Club
Oct 20 2026

It felt like instrumental music in Nando’s for a lot of it. I can acknowledge it’s musically very good but it was rather repetitive and very much background music that I wouldn't listen to again. I liked the trumpet - there could have been more trumpet imo, that would bring it up a notch

Talking Heads 77 by Talking Heads
Oct 21 2026

Strong opener, liking the steel pans in uh-oh, love comes to town. Some nothing-y songs in between Don’t worry about the government is… interesting. Very warbly and nonsensical. I love a bit of talking heads but this album isn’t for me besides the first song and obviously psycho killer unfortunately which do some heavy lifting. Pulled up is a decent-ish ending. Slightly disappointed though!

Hounds Of Love by Kate Bush
Oct 22 2026

Love love love! Obviously the ICONIC Running up that Hill and Cloudbusting!! Never heard ‘The Big Sky’ and think it’s fabulous. Don’t love ‘Mother stands for comfort’ - very repetitive ‘Waking the witch’ is WACKY and kind of hurts my head Enjoyed ‘jig of life’ a lot as well as ‘hello earth’. Final song was a nice ending. First half is lovely, second half is very experimental and wacky vibes. Very theatrical

Madman Across The Water by Elton John
Oct 23 2026

Tiny dancer, Indian Sunset and Rotten Peaches are my faves. I didn’t realise Ghetto Gospel was sampling Indian Sunset so that’s a fun discovery (I knew it was Elton John). I just wasn’t wowed like I thought I’d be so that’s why it’s a 3 for me.
