I'm not a big Beatles guy, so this seems like a very standard Beatles album to me. The hits naturally stand out as familiar, and I'm sure someone could educate me on the importance of this album historically, but to me it seems pretty standard.
Feels quintessentially 80s! Ironic, as it came on in 79. The hits naturally stand out for a reason and have stood the test of time. Few songs surprised me as someone who hasn't listened to this album front to back. Will probably listen again and put some songs on my playlists
Meh, this is not my cup of tea. I do enjoy the lo-fi quality that comes with the older recording equipment; it has its charm for sure. But this kind of music, I have to be in the mood for it. It's not a bad album, but just not one for me.
