1001 Albums Summary

I mean hell yeah I like this never listened to it start to finish though Breathe and Firestarter get me fired up like anything Narayan and Climbatize get a little weird toward the end, love it

It's weird to listen to Kanye pre-MBDTF. like, that album is a GOAT - and after Yeezus I mostly fell off (as did he, arguably? even putting aside his celebrity antics) and MBDTF is such an easy listen - I was hooked from the start. not as instantly hooked here. and I still don't love skit albums. pretty fun though!

oof, challenge mode, I am Not A Big Fan ok I'll give it a try tho ahh ok yeah Rolling in the Deep and Set Fire to the Rain do kinda kick ass oh man no I remember Someone Like You, I do not like this Lovesong? sure why not eh yeah idk definitely by some metrics she's got a great voice but not my thing, people belting emotive ballads is just ... loud. well, fine

I don't think I'm gonna be a fan of Queen still They're just so... Loud Which is a shame bc I like experimentation and this album is a little all over the place (Bring back Leroy Brown and In the lap of the gods are pretty funny together)
