Not for me ... at the time I could see it as breaking new ground, maybe. From the current paradigm, it feels derivative of all influences that are contributing to the sound, its a half-formed thought of what music should be. I imagine I hate people that point to this album as life changing.
Yeah yeah yeahs, I know Karen O, and two fellas Amazing wall of noise.
Forgot about this gem - should set a reminder to listen to it with the winter solstice or some other oft-forgotten day of import.
It's the Kinks - but I prefer later.
Wutang Clan Forever, maybe this album only once in a while - a few tracks were amazing, several samples felt juvenile.
Not in my top 1000 albums of all time! Even referencing the release date, not sure this one has much wow factor.

Reminds me of 2000 - Hope St. Always preferred Boy with the Arab Strap, think the pop jangle of Dirty Dream #2, sold me on Belle and Sebastian.

Reminds me of being 16(ish) - really great album
Revisiting this was surprisingly enjoyable. Maybe too many exposures from dope smoking hippy kids in college turned me off? Maybe an older?
Walked into this one with preconceived notions - and I still maintain them. Rock Classical Guitar - c'mon.
"Growing on me? No. Lady Michael McDonald with a keytar, bleh."
“Sonic youth, High School. Now I'm Old, damn noisy kids Goo did not age well.”
Yeah yeah yeahs, I know Karen O, and two fellas Amazing wall of noise.
Considered with care: Haiku like my ears deserve better. Mega Don't
My ears naked lunch’d but gently, oh so gently. Thumbs up - Don’t judge me.
That was fun ...
Greatest hits, not quite Jamaican Jerk-off a gem you won't find elsewhere.
1959 Really! That voice though inflection and warmth.
