Heaven Or Las Vegas
Cocteau TwinsBeautiful ephemeral pop that I could listen to on loop forever.
Beautiful ephemeral pop that I could listen to on loop forever.
Solid but not my fav SD album.
Very enjoyable and different. I hear a mix of fleet foxes, steely Dan, and my morning jacket. Beautiful music.
Loved the singles, other songs were just medium good to good for me
Great album for setting a vibe but nothing jumped out at me, the tunes seemed to run together. Nice but nothing exceptional.
Interesting and off the wall. Only truly loved 2 songs, the rest is too experimental.
Overall not my style of music. A couple pretty instrumental guitar songs but not a fan of the rest.
Very mixed feelings on this one. 30/70 lite to dislike. Couple songs were great, didn’t enjoy the rest.
Very enjoyable album from start to finish, lush sounds, great beats.
Super enjoyable album, front to back.
Solid Brit pop rock album with some unique stuff, obviously created by strong musicians. Doesn’t have as nostalgic a vibe for me as similar records from that time period, which might skew my option slightly more negative. 3.3
Great guitar album, enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Fairly homogeneous but lots of fun. Really rocks.
Beautiful ephemeral pop that I could listen to on loop forever.
Fun psychedelic pop, nothing amazing but pleasant and nice . Loved grooving, how can I be sure, and opening track.
Blah, didn't enjoy. Didn't like the wobbly theramine noises in a lot of the songs, thought they sounded pretentious.
Enjoyed a few songs on here, but overall a fun and forgettable record. Some places the vocals were too twee, some they felt just right. 3
Impressive feat as an album but there have been much better created since. Kind of cool and atmospheric but not worth numerous listens. 2.3
Had a couple cool songs that reminded me of beach boys mixed with jefferson airplane but also a lot of noise. 2.4
Loved this! Great songs, awesome music, cool vocals. Super solid. 4.3
Great britnpop album, probably the most theatrical and dynamic of all the Brit pop singers. 3.9
Amazing as always for LZ, but still very indulgent. Some perfect songs but then some that just go on for too long. 4.0
Absolutely love this album. Beautiful songs with some awesome voices/guitars. 4.7
Fun, funky album but all runs together. Really nice, not amazing. 3.2
Meh. Lots of pretentious weirdness just for the sake of it. 2.2
Not my fav LZ album, too folky but some pretty songs. 3.5
Musically very solid and eclectic (not always in a positive way). Some jarring changes that make it not super cohesive as an album but I really like the songs. More groove than I expected. 3.6
Fun! Much more enjoyable than I expected, more talented than their famous single would have you believe. Fun, mod rock new wave 80s weirdness album. 3.5
